Step 8: Understanding Settings

Your settings page lets you personalise your experience and keep your account secure. If you're an administrator, you'll also find tools here for managing your organisation's configuration.

For all users

Timezone

Veridox automatically uses your device's timezone to display dates and times. If you're travelling, working from a different location, or simply prefer a different timezone, you can change it here.

Your preference is saved to your account, so it stays consistent wherever you log in.

💡 Why does this matter? All document timestamps - creation dates, modification times, upload times - are displayed in your chosen timezone. Having this set correctly makes it easier to spot date-based anomalies in the documents you review.

Changing your password

To reset your password, click Reset password in the settings page. You'll be directed to a secure page where you'll verify your email address.

⚠️ You will be logged out as part of this process. Make sure you've finished any work in progress before starting a password reset.

For administrators and organisation owners

The following settings are only visible to users with administrator or owner permissions.

Organisation branding

Upload your company logo and update branding details. This keeps the platform feeling consistent with your organisation's identity.

Organisation-wide timezone

Set a default timezone for your organisation, this will be used to configure dates shown in generated reports.

Webhooks

Webhooks allow Veridox to automatically notify your other systems when an analysis is complete. For example, your case management or claims platform can receive an instant update the moment a document has been processed - no manual checking required.

To set up a webhook:

  • Enter your system's webhook URL in the field provided
  • Save your settings - a decryption key will be displayed once
  • Copy and store this key securely - it will not be shown again

⚠️ Only one webhook URL can be active at a time. To update your endpoint, simply replace the existing URL.

API Keys

API keys allow direct, programmatic access to Veridox for teams that want to integrate it into their own workflows or systems.

To generate an API key:

Click Generate key
Copy and store the key securely - it will only be shown once

⚠️ Only one active API key is permitted at a time. If you generate a new key, your previous one will stop working.

If you're looking to build an integration with Veridox, see our developer documentation for more information on what's available.

Reminder: The settings available to you depend on your permission level within your organisation. If you need access to administrator features, speak to your organisation's account owner.
