When you select files on the dashboard, a toolbar appears with two actions: compare them, or download them together. Both work from the tick-boxes on the file list.
Comparing files
Select two or three files, then choose Compare Files. Veridox opens them together in the Chat assistant so you can ask about the differences between them — for example whether two versions of a document match (see the Chat Assistant section).
A few conditions apply:
- You need at least two files, and no more than three.
- Every selected file must have finished analysing — you can't compare a file that's still processing.
If the button is greyed out, hover over it and Veridox will tell you why (too few files, too many, or one that's still analysing).
Exporting files
To download files, select them and choose Export. Veridox packages them into a single ZIP archive and downloads it.
- You can export up to 25 files at once.
- Files that haven't finished uploading can't be included.
As with comparing, a greyed-out Export button explains the reason on hover — nothing selected, too many files, or a file that failed to upload. If a download fails, wait a moment and try again.
