Collecting documents from people outside your organisation

Sometimes the documents you need to analyse are held by someone who doesn't use Veridox, a customer or claimant, for example. Share Link lets you send them a secure upload link so they can send those documents straight to you, without needing an account.

How it works

1. You create a request with the person's name, email, and a policy or claim reference.
2. Veridox emails them a secure link.
3. They open the link, read a short notice, and upload their files. No sign-in is required.
4. The files come back into your Veridox account privately, ready to review.

Only your organisation can see what's uploaded. Inside your organisation, the files go into a case that belongs to you, the person who sent the request. Colleagues see them only if their role can view all organisation cases and files; by default that's Organisation Owners and Organisation Admins. See Roles and permissions.

The link is tied to that one request and expires after 7 days, so it can't be reused or shared onwards indefinitely.

Find it

Select Share Link in the sidebar. If it's greyed out, the feature isn't enabled for your organisation. Ask an admin to turn it on.
