Help CentreChat lets you ask about a document in plain language — for example why it was rated the way it was, or what stood out. The quickest way to ask about one specific file is from that file's analysis.
Ask about the file you're viewing
- Open a document from your dashboard to read its analysis.
- Scroll past the report — you'll see an End of Report marker and the prompt Ask more questions below.
- Type your question into the box (Dig deeper, ask me anything) and press Enter to send. Use Shift + Enter if you need a new line.
You don't need to tell Chat which file you mean — it already has the document you're viewing in context. So you can ask things like "Why is this High risk?", "What are the main concerns here?", or "Explain this finding in simpler terms."
While it works, you'll see Veridox is thinking…, then the answer appears below your question. If something goes wrong, you'll see "Veridox chat encountered an error. Please try again later." — just send it again.
General questions
For broader questions that aren't about one particular file, open Chat from the sidebar. It opens on What can we help you with? — you can ask about fraud detection, document analysis, risk factors, and more.
ℹ️ If Chat is greyed out or you see an access-denied message, the feature isn't enabled for your organisation. Ask an admin to turn it on.
