Approving new user sign-ups

Most organisations require a new account to be approved by an administrator before it can be used. This keeps control over who can join your organisation on Veridox.

How approval works

When someone signs up with your organisation's details and verifies their email, they're held in a pending state — they see an Account Pending Approval message and can't sign in yet.

As an administrator, you'll receive an email about the request, with links to approve or reject it. Approval happens through that email — there's no separate approvals list inside Veridox to check.

  • Approve — the person can sign in and reach their dashboard straight away.
  • Reject — the request is declined and the account isn't added to your organisation.

If someone's waiting

If a colleague says they're stuck on the pending-approval screen, check your email (including spam or junk) for their request and approve it from there. Once approved, they can sign in normally.
