Veridox sets a risk level automatically, but you can change it — for instance after reviewing a document yourself and reaching a different conclusion. Every change is recorded with a reason, so the case keeps a clear history.
Update the risk level
- Open the file from your dashboard.
- Select Confirm/Update Risk at the top of the analysis.
- In the Update Risk dialog, the current level and file name are shown. Choose a new level — Informational, Low, Medium, or High.
- Enter a reason for the change. It must be at least 10 characters, so give enough detail for a colleague to understand later (up to 1000 characters).
- Select Update to save. If you keep the level the same and just want to confirm it, the button reads Confirm instead.
To close without saving, select Cancel.
What happens next
The new level is applied straight away and shown on the dashboard and the analysis. The change — who made it, when, and why — is added to the case's Audit trail, so the original automatic assessment and your adjustment are both on record.
ℹ️ Anyone with access to the case can update its risk level. Because the change is logged with your reason, it's clear who decided what and why.
